Acupressure and Treatment without needles

We recognise that some people may be reluctant to try Acupuncture because they are concerned about the needles. In such circumstances there are alternatives to consider depending on the patients individual concerns. Acupressure is the use of stimulating the exact same points as Acupuncture but without puncturing the skin. Generally our practitioners use specialist probes rather like a  pen to stimulate the points. These probes do not pierce the skin at all. We also use Electric probes which issue a very low electrical current to stimulate the acupuncture point

We also find that many patients once they have experienced Acupressure with a probe and gained the trust of the practitioner go on to  experience Acupuncture. The practitioner has a range of options and therapies to use without the use of needles so there is no need to miss out.

This is not the quite the same as a therapy known as Shiatsu. Shiatsu is where the practitioner uses their finger and thumbs to manipulate the acupuncture point.

We are all unique so please feel free to contact us to discuss your particular situation or any concerns you have, there is no obligation, we are here to help.
