Questions about Acupuncture

What Conditions Can Acupuncture Treat

What conditions can Acupuncture treat?

In 2003 the World  Health Organisation published a list that identified research projects  where there was Western Evidence to support Acupunctures effectiveness.  You can see the full list on our web site in the section (Acupuncture for – Published Results from the WHO) or click here

The list has not been updated since 2003 and therefore does not include all of the recent evidence which has been collected to support it effectiveness

It must be said that just because a condition is not on the list does not mean that Acupuncture is not a valid treatment; it just means that there has been little research in a western setting.

Many people choose Acupuncture for the overall benefit it provides, for general well-being.

We also treat people with terminal illnesses such as cancer to help with some of the side effects they may encounter with chemotherapy for example.

We are caring people and we want to help.
